The Argentine singer and pianist proposes in her tango album “Desde mí misma” a dialog with an extraordinary dynamics between the voice and piano. María provides a solid and powerful artistic identity to her work with a great deal of interpretative power in a solo set album, resulting from the most intimate influences of her exploration on both the piano and her voice itself- a hallmark through which she deploys her authenticity and highest potential of her musical talent. Tangos with a personal view and influens of other styles like jazz and flamenco on the works of such representative writers and composers as Contursi and Dames, Gardel and Le Pera, Cadícamo and Cobián, the Expósito brothers, Manzi and Piana among others.This is her fifth time in Europe and

In 2016 María Elía was part of the prestigious teaching staff (Paulina Fain, Diego Schissi, Ramiro Gallo, Julián Peralta, Hernán Possetti among others) at the Encuentro Internacional de Tango para Músicos (International Tango Encounter for Musicians) an event declared heritage of culural, touristic and educational significance by Ministerio de Cultura (Culture Department) and Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (City Government of Buenos Aires)
It was one of the 10 shows chosen for the BBC by the Director of Celtic Connections.
NeXo is a Collective Creative Music Laboratory with an emphasis on cultural interaction through music to connect, know, explore through dialog and share varied traditions and music languages of Argentina, Galicia, Scotland, Uruguay and Wales. In this first edition musicians from Argentina, Galicia, Scotland, Uruguay and Wales participated in a joint work for four days in Buenos Aires: Xabier Díaz, Gwilym Bowen Rhys, Fabian Miodownik, Jordan Price Williams, Megan Robertson Henderson, Finlay MacDonald, Maria Elia, Fabián Martin and Fernando Barroso worked with the Scottish producer Donald Shaw.

NeXo presented Música de Raíz Atlántica at the Celtic Connections Festival, which took place in Scotland in January 2016- a performance seen by over 5000 people and became a smash success to the audience and critics. It was indeed, one of the 10 shows chosen for the BBC by Donald Shaw, Director of Celtic Connections.
A Cd-Book with fourteen songs by composers Sebastián Monk (1968-2011) produced by the radio program Revuelto Gramajo. The disc includes songs by Monk interpreted by well-known artists and a book with the lyrics together with illustrations made by various artists. A text by Luis M. Pescetti completes this work.
Sebastián Monk (1968-2011) was a pianist, composer and singer. His creative work is intended to reach two kinds of audiences: adults and children. In some instances, his music connects both of them: parents and kids have fun together. His repertory consists of songs of his own, combining humor, defeat and unrequited love.

Plastic artists such as Ana Sanfelippo, Pablo Bernasconi, Nalé Calligaris and Flora Zazú have also participated.
